Kansas City Art Institute, digital filmmaking promote leaders in digital technology 

Kansas City Art Institute provides students with the bachelor of fine arts degree in 13 categories which are digital Filmmaking, Digital Media, Animation, Photography and many more. The university is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission which is known as a commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by National Association of Schools of Art and Design. KCAI has created an environment for digital filmmaking that promotes leaders in the ever changing world of digitial technology and interventions. The digital filmmaking program can advance in areas, such as experimental and narrative digital film production and post production, social media, performance art, web production, sound design and experimental animation to name a few. Students receive hands-on learning skills and experiences that they can take with them on their next journey. Kansas City Art Institute students also receive powerful engagement with teachers and other students to build up critical thinking.

KCAI helps their students to arrange for successful careers within the economy. The digital filmmaking program focuses on each student's creativity and their outlook on cultivating areas, such as project development and management skills and research. Individuals that attend KCAI acquire critical technical capabilities that get them ready to compete against other candidates in the art and industry business. Students gain knowledge and skills through internships and instructions in the professional business. KCAI requires students to gain their experience on the foundation of 129 credit hours over the period of four years. The majors challenge students to stabilize their learning through courses that contain liberal arts, studio, and design history.

KCAI is a university that is categorize into four schools which is the School of the Foundation Year; the School of Liberal Arts; the School of Fine Arts; and the School of Design and Electronic Arts. The foundation year could be the most challenging year for some students because it's consider to be a powerful and commanding year, but the first year can be the most influential time of your life. The school of liberal arts maintains and improves the work of the majors while arranging students to study a variety of areas within the department. The School of Design and Electronic Arts offers inclusive instruction to digital filmmaking, digital media, animation, photography, and graphic design. The school goal consists of visual problem-solving and getting ready for professional occupation in the design and electronic art industry. The school of fine arts includes majors, such as printmaking, ceramics, and many more which build up an array of creative skills, values, and knowledge that has a connection to artists and careers.
