Shawn Levy is known to be a Canadian-American producer, actor, and director in many films. He was born as Shawn Adam Levy. He played a role in the following films, such as "The Pink Panther", "Just Married", "Date Night", "Night at the Museum", "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian", "Real Steel", "The Internship", "Cheaper by the Dozen", "Big Fat Liar". In 1986, Levy's depict a role as an antagonist in "Zombie Nightmare". The movie was a horror and low-budget film. "Zombie Nightmare" is notorious for being on the episode of "Mystery Science Theater 3000". In 1988, Levy played a role as Scott Thorson associate of Liberace. 

Levy's is also known for his directing skills in several television shows that consist of "Pepper Dennis", "The Famous Jett Jackson", and "Cousin Skeeter". He was proclaimed to be the director of Fox's new Frankenstein. In 1997, Levy's role was directing and acting in "Just in Time". He produced "The Famous Jett Jackson" in year 2000. In 2002, Levy was the director for both "Big Fat Liar" and produced "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus Just Married" and played as an actor in "Big Fat Liar". In 2003, Levy's responsibility in "Cheaper by the Dozen" was directing and acting. Levy's role was an actor and producer in "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" in 2005.

In 2006, "The Pink Panther" Levy directed. In 2006, "Night at the Museum" he produced and directed the film. In 2008, Levy produced the following films "What Happens in Vegas" and "The Rocker". His role in the film "Night at the Museum:Battle of the Smithosonian" was an actor, producer, and director. In 2009, "The Pink Panther 2" was produced by Levy. In 2010, he directed and produced "Date Night". 

In 2011, "Real Steel" was produced and directed by Levy, but on "The Watch" his responsibility was to be the producer. In 2012, "The Spectacular Now" was produced by Levy. In 2013, he performed as a director, producer, and actor in the movie "The Internship". In 2014, Levy's role was to be the producer and director for the following films "This is Where I Leave You" and "Night at the Museum". Levy's is working on a Sesame Street movie which the title is To Be Announced. His role in the Sesame Street movie is the producer, but the director and acting role is unknown.
