MDC provides students with affordable tuition. The college is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges that honors associate and baccalaureate degrees.

Individuals who have committed themselves to the Bachelor in Applied Science in Film, Television, & Digital Production have to complete some of the following courses, Production Workshop 1, Production Workshop 2, Business Practices & Production Management, Broadcast Design & On-Air Promotions, Digital Cinematography, Digital FX & Compositing, Sound Design, and many more.

The program requires 120 credits and 35 upper-division credits for completion. Graduates from MDC in the areas of a Bachelor in Applied Science in Film, Television & Digital Production program are trained, qualified, and ready to go out in the competitive markets such as, Post Production Technician/Editor, Media Producer and Director, Studio Broadcasting Technical Personnel, Sound Recordist/Sound Editor, Camera Operator, TV Graphics Designer, and TV Studio Floor Manager.

The average salary that qualified candidates can earn is $22/hour.

Monroe counties and MDC are steadily growing and expanding yearly, which is 2.25% for the previous positions that they will be qualified to perform.
